Derek may have grown up in Geneva, Switzerland, but he has never let that compete against his dream. That dream, of course, was to one day be a Nittany Lion. Although he used to travel 3,000 miles every year to see a Penn State game, he now only has to travel two as he currently studies at Penn State's Smeal College of Business. He attended, among others, the 1998 "LaVar Leap" against Illinois, 1999 "No Flags" against Miami and the 2002 sell-out against Nebraska.
Here at the NLD he is in charge of recruiting and morning links.

Although she should be the starting quarterback for the Nittany Lions, Karisa is the football insider and on-site reporter for all things pig skin. She is a contributing reporter for The Steve Jones Show on 1070 WKOK radio and writes for DolphinsTalk.com. She was the co-host of The SportsBuzz on Comradio and will be interning this summer for The Finsiders, the media and broadcasting department of the Miami Dolphins. During the fall you can find Karisa sleeping outside Gate A as a resident of Paternoville or standing front row in Beaver Stadium above the PATERNONATOR banner cheering obnoxiously.

Ryan Murphy believes that history repeats, and he's waiting for Penn State to repeat for another national title. His first tears for joy were January 2, 1987 when Penn State upset Miami, and Penn State's been in his blood ever since. The author of two books on missionary life in Africa, Ryan enjoys reading and writing about Penn State with his free time. Look for his book Saturdays of Our Lives: A Generation of Penn State Football Victories to be released in spring of 2012 through Father's Press and Amazon Kindle.
