Big Ten Championship Week


Penn State’s men’s basketball wraps up their regular season this afternoon when the Michigan Wolverines make a visit to the Bryce Jordan Center. After today’s game the entire Big Ten will converge in Indianapolis for the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament.

Can Penn State make another magical run to the Big Ten Championship Game?

For your reference, here is the schedule for the Big Ten Tournament. All times eastern.

Thursday, March 8

  • Game 1 – 11:30 a.m. (Big Ten Network)
  • Game 2 – 25 minutes after Game 1 (Big Ten Network)
  • Game 3 – 5:30 p.m. (ESPN2)
  • Game 4 – 25 minutes after Game 3 (ESPN2)

Friday, March 9

  • Game 5 – 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • Game 6 – 25 minutes after Game 5 (ESPN)
  • Game 7 – 6:30 p.m. (Big Ten Network)
  • Game 8 – 25 minutes after Game 7 (Big Ten Network)

Saturday, March 10

  • Big Ten Semifinal 1 – 1:40 p.m., CBS Sports
  • Big Ten Semifinal 2 – 25 minutes after first semifinal game, CBS Sports

Sunday, March 11

  • Big Ten Championship Game – 3:30 p.m., CBS


We will be following the Nittany Lions basketball team throughout the Big Ten championship tournament, whether it is one and done or somehow extends through Sunday in the start of a magical Cinderella story. Stay tuned for live chats once we learn the official schedule with team pairings. Expect Penn State to play in one of the early tip-offs on Thursday.

We regret to say we missed out on covering the Lady Lions this weekend, but we’ll get in gear for the NCAA Tournament.
